"I live in Austin Texas but have a 20 something daughter who resides in Boulder that I like to visit - both Boulder and the daughter as often as possible. Over the last 5 years I have been searching unsuccessfully for an 'affordable home away from home' - and have FINALLY found that in 'The Nest.' ! It's location in north central Boulder is a perfect location, in a quiet residential neighborhood; yet just a skip and a jump to Broadway and a cool mid century modern strip center that is home to Whole Foods, Beleza coffee, Moe's bagels, Breadworks, and other favorite Boulder haunts. It is also within walking distance of Pearl street, The Creek, downtown Boulder and numerous accessible hiking trails. The cottage itself is extremely well appointed with comfortable bedding, quality furniture and kitchen goods, all with a homey farmhouse decor. The 'mini kitchen' has everything you need to enjoy the lovely organic continental breakfast provided - a good coffee maker, a fridge and a microwave to heat up leftovers from dinner out the night before! I especially enjoyed sitting outside on the steps of the cottage each morning having my breakfast and enjoying the incredible gardens created by one of the owners, Vicki, who is obviously a landscaping goddess....not to be outdone by her partner Anne , the ultimate host, who attended to my every need and request promptly and discreetly. Their hospitality and attention to every comforting detail made my stay one of my best ever and I look forward to being one of their regulars! "
